“Grip It, Rip It… But Don’t Expect It to Live Forever.”

At SLĀ, we make premium golf gloves designed for comfort, performance, and looking ridiculously good on the course. But even the best glove in golf isn’t immortal. Golf gloves are a lot like golf balls, tees, and your patience on hole 17 — they wear out with use.

How Long Should a Golf Glove Last?

A golf glove’s lifespan depends on:

  • How often you play
  • Weather conditions
  • Grip pressure
  • Sweat & humidity
  • Whether you lovingly care for it… or abandon it in your trunk after a summer round

For most golfers:

1 glove used daily = several weeks to a couple months

2–3 gloves rotated regularly = much longer life and better performance

Pro Tip: Rotate Your Gloves

The best players rotate gloves during and between rounds. Why?

Because moisture is the enemy.

Letting your gloves properly dry helps:

  • Maintain grip
  •  Prevent stretching
  •  Reduce cracking
  •  Extend lifespan dramatically

Translation: if you wear the same sweaty glove every round and shove it into the bottom of your golf bag like an old banana peel… it’s gonna retire early.

Store It in Your SLĀ Glove Bag

Your SLĀ glove bag isn’t just for looks — it’s designed to help preserve your glove and keep it performing its best.

After your round:

  • Lay your glove flat
  • Let it air out
  • Store it in your SLĀ glove bag to help maintain shape and reduce moisture buildup

A properly stored glove = better feel, better fit, and longer life.

Your glove deserves better than being crumpled next to loose tees and melted protein bars.
